Amma stopped about 40 kilometres before Mysore and sang a few new bhajans in Kannada. She sang the bhajans with zest and even humour as She familiarised Herself with the unfamiliar words.
Tehsildar of Nanjankode waits by the side of Amma to garland Her. Adoring the garland on Amma he said 'I am happy to welcome you on behalf of the people of  Nanjankode village.'
