The U.N. asked Amma to participate in its International Day of Peace. Amma readily agreed and inspired hundreds of thousands of people around the world to come together at 12 noon on the day to chant the peace mantra "Om Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu." In Amritapuri, Amma gave a satsang.
