The tsunami turned some coastal regions of Kerala and Tamil Nadu into virtual wastelands. Ashramites and devotees immediately began cleaning the affected villages, the relief camps, as well as Amritapuri. Here brahmacharinis are helping to clean one of the villages of Alappad Panchayat.
